Linda Britt

I am honored to seek another term on the AAW Board of Directors. My involvement with the AAW began as a volunteer at the 2016 Atlanta Symposium, which inspired me to contribute at a deeper level. Over two terms, I have grown from a new board member into an experienced member of the Board, and I would like to continue that work alongside so many talented and dedicated people in this organization.

I'm currently the Board Secretary, Parliamentarian, and chair of the Bylaws Committee. I also work on the Symposium, Demonstrator Selection, WIT, and Youth committees, and continue to update various AAW handbooks to keep our resources current and useful. Over the past several years, I have attended at least six regional symposia as a Board ambassador, which has given me the opportunity to connect with many of you across the country, hear what matters most to our members, and welcome new members into the AAW community.

Before retiring from the US Courts, I was an IT and Procurement Specialist who managed a million-dollar annual budget, oversaw technology deployment across three states, and coordinated large conferences for federal judges and court staff. This experience in financial oversight, planning, and operations has been directly applicable to my board responsibilities and continues to inform the work I do on behalf of the AAW.

In my community, I have served for many years as president of my Georgia county arts guild and remain active in local arts organizations and exhibitions, including curating and judging shows throughout the region.

With new AAW leadership in place, board continuity is especially valuable. I bring institutional knowledge, established relationships, and a genuine commitment to this organization's future. I am grateful for your support over two terms and respectfully ask for your vote for a third.
