Honorary Lifetime Members

Awarded by the AAW Board of Directors to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to AAW and the advancement of woodturning. 39 recipients since 1992.

POP Merit Award

The Professional Outreach Program Merit Award recognizes the lifetime careers of professionals and the influence their work has had on other artists in the field. 16 recipients since 2007.

Chapter Awards

The Community Impact Award and the Communications Excellence Award recognize local chapters. Applications are open now, with a deadline of April 1, 2026. Includes the Best Chapter Newsletter and Best Chapter Website archives, 2004 to 2023.
