STUDENTS!

The AAW has a beneficial program called Turning to the Future, which offers reference materials and project resources designed specifically to aid teachers, schools, instructors, and other educators (including AAW chapter and regional symposium instructors) in developing programs to teach woodturning skills and inspire a passion for woodturning for students ages 10 to 25. These members-only resources include AAW’s award winning American Woodturner journal, Woodturning FUNdamentals, an online learning portal and digital publication for building essential woodturning skills, and a variety of safety resources, best practices, reference booklets, teaching guides, and student projects.

When you become a registered AAW member and sign up for a FREE Turning to the Future promo code, you’ll be able to offer all of these resources to your students FREE of charge. Students may simply join, using your Turning to the Future promo code - and they will have all of the benefits of an online student membership (for a limited time) FREE.
