Many arts and small business organizations are providing valuable resources, webinars, and grants or loans to makers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this fluid situation, for the most current information for individuals, businesses, and organizations, we highly recommend these websites:

These organizations are compiling and regularly updating resources from across the United States. (A listing of international resources can be found on the Springboard site and at the On The Move website.)

The Small Business Administration and the Department of the Treasury have COVID-19 loan and grant resources.

With a high volume of applications, many organizations are overwhelmed, but are working through submissions as quickly as possible, and seeking new funding when needed. The process can be frustrating and slow. Patience and persistence are required. Double-check your applications and be as accurate as possible to prevent delays.

The Maker’s Collective offers videos and tips on responding to changes in the business environment for makers, and you can find information on creating online demonstrations through the AAW.

Initiatives are happening across the world: if you know of ones that should be listed here, please contact Tib Shaw, [email protected].
