APPLICATION TIMELINES

REGULAR GRANTS

Regular grants are awarded once each year. Applications for regular grants must be received by December 31 of the preceding year. Late applications will not be considered.

Members of the Grants Committee will score each application for a regular grant on a scale of 1-5. Only applications receiving the highest scores will be awarded a grant. Scores will be based on the ability of the applicant to meet the purposes of the grant program, and the ability and opportunity of an applicant to share information gained.  Scores may also be based on economic need. Recipients of regular grants will be notified in the second quarter and must acknowledge acceptance of the grant within 30 days of the notification.

TIME-SENSITIVE GRANTS

Time-sensitive grants may be awarded throughout the year.

Applicants may apply for time-sensitive grants only for purposes that could not practically have been the subject of a regular grant application, and which require funding before the next regular grant cycle.

Applications for time-sensitive grants should be filed at least 60 days before grant funds are requested.

Members of the Grants Committee will review each time-sensitive grant application based on the ability of the applicant to meet the purposes of the time-sensitive grant program, and may also be based on the ability and opportunity of an applicant to share information gained and economic need.   Members of the Grants Committee will then vote on whether the time-sensitive grant application should be approved.

Applicants for time-sensitive grants will be notified promptly after the Grants Committee has reviewed the application.
