AAW Member Community

AAW has grown to a multinational organization with more than 16,000 members. The supportive activities of members to mentor, guide, and teach woodturners are the heart and soul of AAW's success.

Members of the woodturning community are known for their willingness to volunteer and to share ideas with others. This support takes place in one-on-one sessions at the lathe, in the regular meetings of AAW chapters, and at regional and national turning symposiums. We are proud of our members and want to share with you a few of their amazing stories. Each one demonstrates a belief in the AAW mission and its objectives.
