Online demonstration will be approximately 90 minutes followed by Q and A.


Join us online for an exclusive rendezvous with David Ellsworth, an AAW founding member and first Honorary Lifetime Member. You’ll see green wood turning with an emphasis on the basics, from log to finished bowl, all from the keen perspective of a world-renowned woodturning master. David will use the Ellsworth Signature Gouge to demonstrate:

 

  • Mounting and balancing a half-log on the lathe
  • Roughing, slicing, and backward shear-scraping cuts
  • Interior finishing cuts
  • Jam-chucking
  • Sharpening

Confirmation/Receipt and Event Link

  • After registering, you will receive a receipt/confirmation by email.
  • A link to the event will be sent by email approximately 24-hours prior to the event.

Replay

  • A replay of the event will be available online for registered attendees until November 14. Registered attendees will be provided a link via email when the replay is available for viewing.
