Symposium and Banquet/Auction Gala Registration |
- The symposium is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning. The full registration fee includes demonstrations, Instant Gallery, trade show and auction.
- Many areas at the Symposium are open to the public, and do not require registration. These areas include the Instant Gallery, Trade Show, all of the Special Exhibits, and the Educational Opportunity Grant (EOG) auction. The banquet requires a ticket, but after the banquet, the doors will be opened to the public, so galleries and collectors who may not want to attend other symposium functions can bid on EOG auction items.
- Technical and Vocational Ed teacher's symposium registration fee (not including banquet ticket) will be waived upon request - AAW membership required. A Technical and Vocational Ed teacher is defined as: one who works in these fields full-time, and in an accredited public or private grade school, jr high/high school, technical school or college. If you qualify, give the AAW office a call at 651-484-9094 to register.
- For those wanting to register for the 2010 symposium through the mail, please note that the cut-off date is June 3 for registrations to be received at the St Paul office.

- No size restrictions for turnings placed in the Instant Gallery, as long as AAW members drop off and pick up their own pieces.

Special Interest Night (SIN) - Friday, June 18 from 7:30 - 9:30pm |
- This is an opportunity for groups and individuals to have panel discussions, meetings, and special presentations. The AAW will provide the rooms and digital projector. This year's sessions will include: Collectors of Wood Art, Penturners, Ornamental (rose engine) and Segmented turners.

Spouse and Significant Other Information |
- On Site Craft Room - this is a room where non-woodturners can enjoy their own crafts in the company of others, and see some demos and/or showings of a variety of crafts such as quilting, pressed flower greeting cards, scrapbooking, and others. The room will be open during the symposium hours. Please bring your in progress or completed projects with you so we can all enjoy them. If you would like to do a demo or have any questions, don't hesitate to contact czippy158@cox.net for more information.

- Convention Center parking discount coupons - click here for Word and click here for pdf. Parking is normally $3 first hour, $2 each additional hour, and the daily maximum is $19 - $13 with the coupons (no overnights).

- Lathe raffle results:
The raffle was very successful, raising a total of $6,660 for the AAW’s Emergency Relief Fund. The winners were Fritz Wolf of Lisle, Illinois for the PowerMatic, and Bob Lauzon of McKinney, Texas for the Jet Mini Lathe.
