This piece is the fifth, last and most evolved in a series whose inspiration initially derived from an image of a vase found in a book on contemporary studio porcelain. It was exhibited by invitation in the 2008 Over The Edge, Woodturning into Sculpture exhibition at the Prichard Gallery, University of Idaho, curated by Jim Christiansen and Gerrit van Ness.
