TIPS ON USING THIS FORM:
  1. Type, print or write legibly, your answers to the questions. (If you download a copy from the website, you can download it in MSWord and type you answers right on the form, print and mail it to the AAW).


  2. Please do not submit CD’s or Notebooks full of supporting data or photos. The grants are rated by the content of the answers to the questions. They are considered on their own merit.


  3. Please answer the questions in a clear and concise manner. Include additional sheets, if necessary.


  4. Be sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Use a standard business envelope (4 1/8” x 9 ½”).


  5. Please provide the name that will appear on any Award check.


  6. Be sure that the Grant is marked as an individual, chapter, student or other application.
      Individuals may reapply five years after their award (maximum award - $1000).
      Chapters may reapply every other year (maximum award - $1500).
      Schools may reapply every year (maximum award - $1500).
      Students may reapply every two years until the age of 25 after which Individual Grant rules are in effect. Students must be fulltome (maximum award - $1000)


  7. Please have your application postmarked by the deadline (January 15th, in the year of application). Postmarks after January 15th will not be considered. Applications postmarked by January 15th and received after the close of the review process will not be considered.


  8. E-mail applications are not accepted.


  9. Budget: It is OK for your budget to exceed the maximum $1000 or $1500 award amount.
