Other info: The uniform and very geometrical patterns are balanced by the hand cut, freeform ebony panels. This mimics our lives in many ways. We strive for structure and organization while confronting the confusion and emotions of the human condition.

Other info: This work was featured on the cover of the 2009 AAW Membership Brochure. The title refers to my personal search for artistic enlightenment. I have been lead to believe that the nine muses tend to hang out at Delphi. The black sections are walnut that has been textured with branding irons and further blackened with acrylic paint.

Other info: This design was inspired by the ceramic storage pots used by many precolumbian civilizations in the Americas. The central band was influenced by a Cherokee blanket I saw in a museum.
