Other info: The most recent of my "Acorn Series" lidded boxes, the "flame grain" evoked a vision of the first tentative flames of a newly lit fire.
Turned on three axes and set on a small foot with an outflowing base, I strive for the illusion of suspension in space - the flames in the grain trapped in time.
