Other info: Ornamental turning in the form of a traditional tazza. The piece is made from three hand-turned pieces (to maximize use of the precious wood). The three pieces are then decorated on my home-built ornamental turning machine and threads are cut to assemble the finished piece. Both classical and modern patterns are cut on 5 surfaces -- the top and bottom (inside and out) and the stem.
