What is my username?
The first time you sign in, in most case your user name will be set to your email address. (If we do not have your email address on record, your user name is a number.) If you would like to use a different username, you may change it as follows:
My old password doesn’t work. How do I reset my password? Why did it have to change?
Because the new website has enhanced security and privacy features to protect your personal information, it was necessary to reset all member password information.
How do I change my username and password? Can I choose my own username and password?
Why is my password hidden when I type it in?
Because the new website has enhanced security features to protect your personal information, your password will never be visible.
Important Note to Chapter Group Page Administrators: If you are a chapter page administrator, you are able to edit your member profile and your chapter profile. Make certain you know which profile (member or chapter) you are editing before making changes. For chapters, be careful not to accidentally delete or un-check critical chapter information such as chapter name, states, etc. which will impact chapter searchability.
Why don't my new website sign in credentials work for the AAW Forum?
Your AAW website credentials will not work on the AAW Member Forum which is a separate member-moderated module. If you are already a registered AAW Member Forum user, please continue to use those credentials to login to the Forum. New AAW Member Forum users may sign up for the forum at http://www.aawforum.org/vbforum/register.php
Where is the "Cancel" button?
I attempted to make a change on my member profile and received a message,"You entered your current username! If you do not wish to change your username at this time, simply click the Cancel button below" - but there is no "Cancel" button on the page. This is not intuitive and we apologize. Please click the button labeled, "Do not change username" instead.

Is my online store purchase secure?
The AAW is committed to data security with respect to information collected on its site. The AAW offers the industry standard security measures available through your browser called SSL encryption to transmit credit card information to the AAW's bank payment processing database. Your credit card information is never stored on AAW servers. You may contact the AAW office if you are concerned with online commerce.
Why doesn’t my membership start date show on my membership card?
Currently, only your membership expiration date appears on your membership card.
How do I print my membership card?

Why can’t I see the AAW member directories?
Access to the AAW member directories is a members-only benefit. Members must sign in in order to access the directory information. To become an AAW member, visit http://aaw.site-ym.com/general/register_member_type.asp?
When I search the Chapter directory I get a message "No records matched your search criteria." I know there's more than one AAW Chapter in my state. What's wrong?
The Chapter directories are not currently working correctly. We are aware of the problems and are working with our software developer to resolve the issues. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I just updated the professional information in my member profile but discovered that my information was not updated in the directories. What happened? What should I do?
Member profile changes do not immediately update online directories which are re-indexed very eight hours. Any member profile changes will update the directories during the next re-index process. Member profile changes will be searchable in directories only after the daily directory re-index process is completed.
I'm having trouble downloading an AAW publication. I receive an error message, “The file is damaged and could not be repaired.” What can I do?
Sometimes a PDF file becomes damaged while downloading due to hiccups in internet connectivity especially in lengthy downloads.
What do you mean by location?
On the AAW website, "Location” refers to state, province, etc.
