|Hollowoods: Joys and challenges of working with burl|
HOLLOWOODS is a portrait of the joys and challenges of working with burl and other native woods, through the eyes and hands of master woodturner and carver Frank White. He takes us through the transformative process, from his many sources of inspiration and burl in the woods of New England, to the process of working at his lathe and carving bench creating one-of-a-kind natural edge bowls and hollow vessels. His work is currently on display at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, MA, and has been exhibited in regional and national venues. Courtesy of Harbour Fraser Hodder and IWSC.
