Live/online auction for Educational Opportunity Grant (EOG) program: The 43-piece Friday night auction features work by such luminaries as Binh Pho, David Ellsworth, and Garry Knox Bennett, as well as emerging wood artists like Kristin LeVier, Jason Breach, and Max Brosi. Along with individual works, there will be a collective/collaborative offering, Fruits of Our Labor, by the Women in Turning committee, which consists of a walnut vessel filled with both realistic and idiosyncratically-interpreted fruits from more than 35 individual artists.

Live/online auction for Professional Outreach Program (POP): Saturday’s auction features 40 small-scale pieces (all 8” x 8” x 8” or smaller) created specifically around the show theme, Patterns. The 10th in a series of international invitational exhibitions created by the Professional Outreach Program (POP), Patterns highlights the work of 40 studio artists working in wood, from 11 countries, including work by Michael Cullen, Jason Schneider, Miriam Carpenter, Zina Manesa Burloiu, and Hans Weissflog. Close of the silent auction for AAW educational programming: Silent auction work will be on display in the Instant Gallery until Saturday afternoon.


Charitable Projects

(Building 2, 3rd Floor): Free admission

Buy a handcrafted bowl of any size for $25 to support Variety the Children's Charity of Georgia, which offers mobility for children living with disabilities. See the display of woodturned boxes made by AAW members for Beads of Courage, which supports local children coping with serious illnesses.
