Dakota Woodturners Club member Ron Day, who has been following his passion for about 20 years, shared his technique earlier this month at the annual Rocky Mountain Woodturning Symposium in Colorado.
Day, who has been interested in woodworking since he was a little boy, did not begin woodturning, a craft that uses a lathe, until about 15 years ago when he moved to Bismarck and joined the Dakota Woodturners Club.
“I came to find out there was a club in North Dakota. That was the best move I could ever made," he said. (9/28/2015)
