Ceremony International Invitational Exhibition: Works by forty-three established and emerging artists from five continents

Rising Annual Juried Exhibition
: Draws its theme, "Rising,” from the story of the phoenix interpreted in a myriad of ways

Merit Award, Clay Foster
: Ten pieces, each reflecting his abiding respect and admiration for, "Things that endure, things that last, ancient voices that speak to our hearts in modern times; these are the things that give us comfort and courage.”

Instant Gallery:
The largest display of turned-wood objects under one roof features more than 1,000 art works and crafts in wood.

*Supports the Educational Opportunity Grant program (EOG) that provides individual turners, students, local chapters and educational organizations with funding for turning-related classes, equipment and projects.

Woodturning Tradeshow
Survey state-of-the-art woodturning products, supplies and more up close and in action. Observe ongoing woodturning demonstrations.

Support for Local Charities
Empty Bowls Fundraiser: Woodturned bowls crafted and donated by AAW members will be sold for $25 each and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Phoenix-based SEEDs for Autism, a nonprofit vocational arts program for young adults on the autism spectrum.

  • Saturday, June 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Beads of Courage: Browse the unique display of handmade boxes donated by AAW members for Beads of Courage, an AZ-based nonprofit that provides supportive care programs for children coping with serious illness. Each box will hold a child’s beads. Each bead represents completion of a medical procedure or treatment.

Requirements for Transportation of Wood
