Welcome to our virtual AAW Chapter Group community!

  • Chapter Groups are used to help facilitate communication, sharing and interaction between members.

  • Any AAW member may be associated with any Chapter Group. (Group administrators approve members who join their group.)

  • Members are not associated with the group until they “join” the group.

  • Chapter Group members may be members of other Chapters (and do not necessarily represent any actual Chapter's membership).

Settle in and make yourself comfortable. Here, you can explore our AAW Chapter Group pages. Get to know one another. Contribute to the conversation. Share your expertise. Learn from others.

Montgomery County Woodturners (MCW) is a woodturning club, organized in 2007 with a general membership of over 70 turners of all ages and gender. We are a diverse group of woodturners with skills varying from novice to professional. The one common trait we all share is the passion to create beautifully turned objects from various types of material, much of which would otherwise be destined for the fireplace! We are a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW).

We are a fairly new chapter and welcome new members. We are a diverse group with a wide range of interests. Please join us as we acquire new skills and techniques as we learn from each other. Keep turning!
